The first time I heard this song was back in the early 90s. My parents had a tape recording of the funeral of dear family friends' daughter. I remember listening to the tape because I didn't attend the service. This song played during a slide show of the young woman. To this day, I cannot think of anyone else but her when I hear this song. I randomly thought of this song today...which led me to think of other things.
